How did KAIRU turn the fish transparent?
Transparent biological specimens are a method of making biological specimens. They were originally used for scientific research. The specimens used by KAIRU come from abandoned fisheries, exotic species or dead organisms in farms. The integrity of the organisms is not destroyed during production. Next, after multiple treatments with chemicals and dyes, the remains of the dying creatures are reborn into beautiful and unique transparent specimens.

Coelorinchus sp.
The body is elongated and flattened on the sides, and the tail is as long as a belt, becoming more tapered toward the back. It inhabits the muddy and sandy bottom environment and has a hard and protruding snout. It is often used to dig up the sandy and muddy bottom of the seabed to find small benthic animals, small fish or cephalopods for food. There is a short beard under the chin, which also has the function of detecting the environment and prey in the deep sea. The light emitters are distributed at the front end of the anus, and the shapes of the light emitters of different species are slightly different.
Distribution in Taiwan: North, Northeast, East, West and South Fishery purposes: Individuals are relatively large, the trunk part is edible, and can sometimes be found in fish markets. Small individuals are used as trash fish.
