How did KAIRU turn the fish transparent?
Transparent biological specimens are a method of making biological specimens. They were originally used for scientific research. The specimens used by KAIRU come from abandoned fisheries, exotic species or dead organisms in farms. The integrity of the organisms is not destroyed during production. Next, after multiple treatments with chemicals and dyes, the remains of the dying creatures are reborn into beautiful and unique transparent specimens.

Mosquitofish Poeciliidae
The body shape is elongated, the front half is slightly wedge-shaped, and the back half is flattened laterally. The female fish has a more enlarged abdomen, which is different from the male fish. The mouth is upward and retractable. The dorsal fin is short and located on the back half of the body.
Characteristics: Whether the snout is extended, the structure of the receptacle is one of the important classification features, and the shape of the teeth.
Small fish belonging to freshwater or estuary areas, with strong fecundity and environmental tolerance. Due to artificial introduction, abandonment or escape, they have become exotic fish all over Taiwan's freshwater waters. Due to their strong fecundity, they are similar to the native green fish. The ecological locations of killifish overlap, and due to environmental pollution, habitat development and other reasons, the native killifish has been replaced by potbelly fish or guppies of the family Killidae.
